To launch an app in the App Store you will need to setup an Apple Developer account for your organization and invite us to it. This will allow us to do all the heavy lifting for you while leaving you in the driver seat as the owner of the account.
1. Enroll in the Apple Developer program
đ Skip this step if you already have an Apple Developer account.
Follow Appleâs instructions to enroll in Appleâs Developer program. You must enroll as an organization, using a personal developer account or an enterprise developer account will result in your app being rejected by Apple.
2. Invite Treefort to your Apple Developer account
Open App Store Connect and navigate to âUsers & Accessâ.
Click the blue â+â button and enter the following details:
First Name: Treefort
Last Name: Systems
Email: [email protected]
Roles: Admin
Apps: If you have multiple apps, select only the apps that you wish Treefort to manage. Otherwise you can leave this setting blank.
Select the âKeysâ tab (still under âUsers & Accessâ). Select âApp Store Connect APIâ in the sidebar. If a âRequest Accessâ button is shown then click that to request access to the API.
3. Get ready to accept payments
đ Skip this step if you do not plan to offer paid subscriptions through your iOS app.
Open up App Store Connect and navigate to âAgreementsâ.
Read and accept the âPaid Appsâ agreement if the terms are acceptable to you.
Fill out your tax and banking information under the âTaxâ and âBankingâ tabs.
Register for the small business program to cut your transaction fees in half.
đ§ Please be aware that, as the account owner, you are responsible for manually renewing your paid app agreement when it expires. If you fail to do so Apple will stop monetizing your app.
