Treefort

Follow this guide to connect your Vimeo account to Treefort and easily import Vimeo videos into your app.

👉 A Vimeo “Standard” plan or higher is required for this integration.

You‘ll need to create an “app” in Vimeo’s developer dashboard to manage Treefort’s access to your account.

Sign into <a href="https://developer.vimeo.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://developer.vimeo.com</a> with your primary account.

Click “Create an app” in the top right corner.

The app name and description are up to you, or you can use these values:

1. Name: “Treefort”
2. Description: “Grant Treefort access to private video files”

Select “No. The only Vimeo accounts that will have access to the app are my own.”

1. Sign into <a href="https://developer.vimeo.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://developer.vimeo.com</a> with your primary account.
2. Click “Create an app” in the top right corner.
3. The app name and description are up to you, or you can use these values:
   1. Name: “Treefort”
   2. Description: “Grant Treefort access to private video files”
4. Select “No. The only Vimeo accounts that will have access to the app are my own.”
5. Click “Create app”
    

After creating an app you’ll be taken to the app management page. If you created the app at an earlier time you can find it under <a href="https://developer.vimeo.com/apps" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://developer.vimeo.com/apps</a>.

Scroll down to the “Generate an access token” section under “Authentication” on your new app‘s management page.

Choose "Authenticated" and make sure the "Public", "Private", and "Video Files" scopes are checked.

Copy the new token into your Treefort dashboard at <a href="https://admin.treefortsystems.com/integrations/vimeo" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://admin.treefortsystems.com/integrations/vimeo</a>

1. Scroll down to the “Generate an access token” section under “Authentication” on your new app‘s management page.
2. Choose "Authenticated" and make sure the "Public", "Private", and "Video Files" scopes are checked.
3. Click “Generate”
4. Copy the new token into your Treefort dashboard at <a href="https://admin.treefortsystems.com/integrations/vimeo" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://admin.treefortsystems.com/integrations/vimeo</a>

You can now select videos from your Vimeo account from the “Import videos” modal in your Treefort dashboard.

Click “Add content” and choose “Video”.

Search for and select the Vimeo videos you’d like to import.

1. Navigate to the “Content” tab.
2. Click “Add content” and choose “Video”.
3. Select the “Vimeo” tab.
4. Search for and select the Vimeo videos you’d like to import.
