Play Store listing

Customize the presentation of your Android app in the Google Play Store

Updated over a month ago

Your Play Store “listing” is the page that presents your Android app to users in Google’s Play Store. This page includes your app’s name, icon, description, screenshots, ratings, etc. The primary goals of this page is to inform Android users about your app and convince them to download it.

Customizing your Play Store listing

We’ll automatically put together a basic listing for your app based on screenshots of your app as well as the app information that you provide to us. You are also free to customize this page on your own.

Treefort dashboard

Certain customizations must be done through your Treefort dashboard. This includes:

  • App name

  • Icon

  • subtitle

  • Description

To update these values, sign in to your Treefort admin dashboard and navigate to “App > Settings”. Once you’ve made your changes, notify us and we’ll submit them to Google for review.

We’ll keep these changes in sync for both your Play Store listing and your App Store product page.

Google Play Console

Certain customizations must be done through the Google Play Console. This includes:

  • Feature graphic

  • Video

  • Screenshots

To update these values, sign in to the Google Play Console, select your app, choose “Store presence > Store listings” in the sidebar, and click “Edit” on your default store listing.

Once you’ve made changes you are free to submit them to Google yourself, or you can tap us to do it for you.
