Subscription plans explained
Updated over a week ago

Subscription plans allow users to pay a recurring fee for access to benefits like content and features. You can offer as many plans as you like. Each plan has its own price, renewal rate, and benefits. Users can sign up for any plan right in your app.

The in-app benefits that a plan unlocks are determined by the offerings that you’ve setup. You may also offer benefits outside of your app such as swag, discounts on conference tickets, access to other services, etc. These benefits will not be managed by Treefort, but you can list them on your in-app pricing page.

Subscription plans are configured separately for each platform (iOS, Android, and Web). This gives you maximum flexibility. For example, you can charge your users more on a platform that has higher payment processing fees and less on a platform with lower fees. Regardless of which platform they subscribe on, your users can access their plan‘s benefits on any platform.

To create a new plan follow the Stripe subscription plan guide for your web app, App Store subscritpion plan guide for your iOS app, and the Play Store subscription plan guide for your Android app.
