Add team members to help manage your app and content

Updated this week

If you have multiple people on your team, you can grant them access to help manage your app and content. On the Team Management page of your dashboard you can add or remove team members or change the role of existing team members.

Multiple roles can be assigned to a single team member, and there are several roles available with varying levels of permissions on your dashboard:

  • Account Owner: This is a special role which has full control over your account. If there are any issues with your Treefort account we will reach out to the users with this role. Only the account owner has the ability to add and remove team members and edit member roles. You must have at least one account owner.

  • Admin: Admins have full read/write control over the dashboard, and can view but not edit team members or roles.

  • Content Manager: A content manager has limited access to the dashboard, with read/write access only to the Content and Collections tabs. This role is useful for team members who should be able to publish new content or remove content from your app.

  • App Manager: The App Manager has permission to update all aspects your app settings: pages, tabs, theme, and general settings.

  • Customer service: This role has read/write access to the Audience section to manage user accounts, as well as the ability to manage group memberships, coupons, and subscription plans for users. The Customer Service role can also grant or revoke content entitlements for users.

  • Finance: The Finance role can update your subscription plans, offerings, and group memberships.

  • Accounting: Accounting has access to the billing portal on your dashboard, including the ability to update billing settings on your account.

  • Developer: The Developer role can manage your integrations and webhooks.

🚩 Because they have access to your integrations and webhooks, users with the Developer role could gain access to data in your account even if it is not accessible from the dashboard. Treat the Developer role as an Admin for purposes of trust.
