If a user needs help updating their payment method then you can send them a snippet from this guide. The process for updating their payment method will depend on where they purchased their subscription. You can identify where they purchased their subscription by searching for them in the Audience tab of your Treefort dashboard.

Apple

If the user purchased their subscription from Apple:

The default payment method associated with your iCloud account will be used to pay for your subscription. To change this payment method, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple ID at the top, and then tap “Payment & Shipping”.

Google

If the user purchased their subscription from Google:

The default payment method associated with your Google account will be used to pay for your subscription. To change this payment method, open the Play Store app on your Android device, tap the profile icon in the top right, tap “Payments & subscriptions”, and then tap “Payment methods”.

Stripe

If the user purchased their subscription from Stripe:

To change your payment method, sign into the web app, open the account menu, tap your subscription, and tap “Manage billing”.

We recommend linking “web app” to the URL of your Treefort web app.
