Web content enables you to embed web pages or web code directly in your app. To get started, click “Add content” in your admin dashboard and then choose “Web”. See sources and display types for help configuring your web content.

Web content is perfect for embedding content types that aren‘t supported by Treefort natively - blog posts, livestreams, or magazines to name just a few examples. This feature gives you ultimate flexibility over what you include in your app.

We do not recommend embedding content types that Treefort supports natively: podcasts, ebooks, audiobooks, or on-demand video. If you include these content types using web content then you will miss out on features like downloads and offline listening, video autoplay, the ability to listen to videos, a native experience on Android and iOS, etc.

Web content can only be loaded when a network connection is available. It will not be available offline.

The quality and functionality of web content is outside of Treefort’s control. Please test web content thoroughly in your Android, iOS, and web apps.
