Treefort Content Analytics

Data about how users are interacting with your content

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Analytics tab of your dashboard contains custom Treefort analytics events to track how users are engaging with your content. There are five metrics displayed for each content item, and each value is reported within the date range you've selected.

  • Impressions: the number of times a user has started to play or read the content. (Triggered by a request to start playing audio, start playing video, or open an ebook.)

  • Users: the number of unique users who have started to play/read this content.

  • Total Engagement: the amount of time users have spent reading or watching/listening to the content item. For instance, if one user watches a video for 30 seconds, another watches for 5 minutes, and a third user watches for 15 seconds, then "Total Engagement" will be 5 minutes 45 seconds.

  • Average Engagement: this is Total Engagement divided by the number of users who engaged with the content. For the above example, Average Engagement would be 5:45 / 3, or 1 minute 55 seconds.

Exporting Analytics

Results from the Analytics page can be exported to CSV so you can work with the numbers or generate reports using spreadsheets or other software. The exported CSV includes basic metadata about each item as well as the metrics listed above. (Engagement times in the CSV are listed in seconds.)
